Myanmar

Myanmar is a magical country with rich customs and culture that make it a perfect destination for photographers. The beautiful country is bursting with scenic views that include thousands of pagodas such as the Shwedagon with 100m high floodlights. The Inle Lake with boat people and a floating village are also worth capturing while on the trip. The Pagodas of Bagan are also a sight to behold especially as the sun rises in the morning.

The architecture in Myanmar is filled with thousands of ancient temples spread within the nation. The temples give a glimpse into the old traditions of the people, helping you discover the treasures that have been part of the country for centuries. Although frozen in time, Myanmar still has a lot to offer which can be seen in its streets that speak of a rich past. Family traditions are still held in high esteem as seen in the living arrangements in the region.

Buddhist monks that are in tune with most of the old traditions in Myanmar are always ready to interact with tourists. Whether in the temples or along the streets, the monks are open for candid portraits that help depict the religious side of the country. The local people are also warm-hearted and always smiling regardless of their position in their society. An opportunity to explore their culture in depth is when we visit the Naga Tribe and the tattoo women of the Chin State. All in all, Myanmar offers numerous photography opportunities that include jaw-dropping moments along the way.
