EXPEDITION’S FIRST DAY:
Arrival at Chiang Mai airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, we head to Wat Papao where we do blue hour sessions with novice monks doing a lighting scene. We shoot many scenes at this historic building with candles etc. After the blue hour is finished we head back to the hotel for a late dinner. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

EXPEDITION’S SECOND DAY:
Early morning wake up, and we head to Wat Umong, which is located against the mountains of Doi Suthep. Many scenes with monks in the amazing scenery of this ancient temple with a Buddha field of broken sculpture, and the caves of the temple. After the photo shoot we head back and checkout at the hotel for our next highlight of the day: we will photograph the long-neck people in their village with daily scenes of cooking, bathing, and other activities. This is also a perfect way to shoot portraits of the tribe. After the shoot, we head to Fang District. After dinner overnight in Fang.

EXPEDITION’S THIRD DAY:
Early wake up for a one hour drive to the Tea plantations of Ang Khang, part of the Daen Lao Range that straddles both sides of the Burmese-Thai border, where we photograph the tea plantations on sunrise, with the local hill tribe faily picking the tea leaves, and more cultural scens of them doing their daily work. Local lunch on top of Doi Angkhang. Proceed to Wat Rong Khun, perhaps better known to foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary, unconventional, privately owned, art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. After visit we wait for the sun to set behind the temple and make some amazing shoots. We then proceed to our hotel near Phu Lungkha for dinner and overnight stay.

EXPEDITION’S FOURTH DAY:
Early wake up and drive to the veiwpoint of Phu Lungkha to shoot the fog (if lucky and seasonal). Proceed to Payao province for rural village life photography, with Buffalo and farmers, portraits and then some amazing fishermen scenes at the famous Phayao lake. After sunset we head to Chaeson National park and have dinner and stay at our hotel near the park.

EXPEDITION’S FIFTH DAY:
Again we wake up in the early hours to visit Chaeson hot springs to capture the sunrise in the smoking and befumed springs with the silhouette of the egg sellers that frequent the area. We then drive back to Chiang Mai, where we head to one of the elephant camps to make a photo session with these amazing animals and their mahouts. Late dinner and overnight in Chiang Mai.

EXPEDITION’S SIXTH DAY:
Morning visit to Busuang Umbrella factory in Chiang Mai to shoot portraits and cultural arts and crafting of the umbrella’s. We then head to wat Phalad to explore this amazing temple and shoot candle scenes and Buddhism scenes with monk. Flight from chiang Mai to Udon Thani. Transfer to Wat Pa Phu
Kon in Udon Thani to shoot the exterior and amazing interior of the reclining Buddha statue.

EXPEDITION’S SEVENTH DAY:
After breakfast we head to Wat Si Chum to visit the famous Buddha hand. Move to Chiangmai to get evening scenes of Elephants and Mahouts in Maewang elephant sanctuary, Overnight stay in Chiangmai.

EXPEDITION’S EIGHTH DAY:
At 4.30 we proceed to Phu Dak and walk 400 meters up to see another amazing misty mountain scene. Around 8 AM back in the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast cultural life scenes around the Thali Waterfall, children playing in the river, young novice monk scene. Late lunch and transfer to the airport. Flight around 16h go to the airport for the flight of Udon Thani to Bangkok Transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Bangkoki.

EXPEDITION’S NINTH DAY:
Full day of scenes in Bangkok, Wat Arun in the morning, proceed to Chinatown, afternoon free for shopping near your hotel.

EXPEDITION’S TENTH DAY:
Visit to Amphawa for a photoshoot in the Palm Sugar farm, with small canals and working scenes at the farm. Lunch and visit of Amphawa Floating Market (weekends only)
